Lee Ammer – President & CEO

Leading the team is Lee Ammer. She holds a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation since 2001, a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation since 2007 and a Global Professional in Human Resources since 2009. Before starting OG Benefits, Lee had more than 20 years’ experience working in Benefits and Compensation Management.

Lee has managed Benefits Departments for diverse organizations from beer distributorships, to oil and gas services corporations, to automotive enterprises, as well as a quasi-government agency. The entities ranged in size from 300 to 5,000 employees.

Her forward thinking allows her to present unique concepts; including a variety of funding concepts, worksite health clinics, and communication strategies to engage the workforce. Lee’s experience in benefits management brings unique insight into cost containment of the organization as well as the needs of the workforce. As a Texas based broker-consultant, she understands the Texas economy. This allows her to be proactive when designing strategies for organizations.

She is well versed in compensation. During her career she has completed countless compensation surveys, developed job descriptions, reviewed compensation structures and made recommendations for adjustments based on market review, and evaluated classifications for jobs. Lee’s experience with both Benefits and Compensation gives her a well-rounded background and makes her well suited for assisting organizations that want to be competitive with their Total Rewards packages.

As a graduate of the University of Missouri, Lee’s Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing prepared her to be a leader in her community. She has had more than 15 years of community service in Rotary International. Lee also served a term as founding President of a new club and completed an international medical mission trip.
