Rudy Ammer – Of Counsel

Rudolph (Rudy) works with OG Benefits in an “of counsel” position. Rudy is an experienced financial services professional. His broad experience includes over 25 years of working with employers regarding retirement planning and solutions. His qualifications include Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP®) with encyclopedic knowledge of compensation and benefits. He is a Registered Representative, licensed in several states for security sales, and as a Registered Investment Advisor. (Series 7 and 66.)

In his role as a Consultant for the Cities of Galveston and Seguin, and several smaller municipalities, he has conducted compensation and benefit reviews. Rudy is the immediate past president of a Municipal Utility District and served on the board for more than eight years.

OG Benefits relies on his insight and experience to provide clients frequent updates to the economy on both a national and regional level. He draws his information from numerous widely recognized sources from Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, Morningstar, Adviser Investments, Mauldin Economics, and over a dozen other strategists that provide daily feeds. These daily reports keep him updated on the economy in general, inflation, markets, unemployment, interest rates, and consumer spending. His experience and foresight keep our clients up to date on the external forces that can disrupt the economy and cause employees’ angst. For instance, a sudden bank failure, followed by two more major banks, has forced quick, and costly actions. These actions have caused a major distraction from the Federal Reserve Bank’s determined efforts to fight inflation. In turn, this trickles down to the rising interest rates for everyone.
